The International Kabataan Union (IKU), a youth-led organization that works with local and international students, conducted an outreach program on November 14, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., at Sapangbato Elementary School.
The volunteers for the outreach were students from Grades 10 to 12, assisted by facilitators Ms. Zarah and Ms. Missy. The GIS team arrived at Sapangbato around noon and immediately helped transport bundles and boxes of food supplies to the school stadium.

After the introduction, the volunteers began distributing the food packs. Each student received three kilograms of rice, one milk packet, one can of meat, and two packs of instant noodles. A total of three hundred food packs were given to support children and families affected by Typhoon Uwan.
Around 1:00 in the afternoon, the program concluded with a cheerful song, “Smile” by Eraserheads. The IKU representatives ended the outreach with a warm and positive atmosphere as the children listened to the song.
